DOG AID

Dog Aid is a charity aimed at teaching dogs to help their disabled owners, as a dog aid registered trainer I visit people in their homes to help them train their dogs to do certain tasks depending on the needs of the person and the capabilities of the dog.

It is a long process to becoming a dog aid trainer but well worth the effort. You need to be able to prove you are able to do this type of training, and have to be able to use and understand the different types of training, you also have to be CRB checked before undertaking any training with clients, there are safeguards for clients too, doctors reports and vets reports are required as a minimum before training commences as well as assessments for both the dog and clients.

This training can be great fun and you make some good friends

If you are interested in becoming a trainer or are a person in need of their help please contact them via my ‘links’ page
